Heavy protests are taking place in protest of the Ecuadorian government’s decision to abolish fuel subsidies. Seven people have died and more than 1,000 have been injured in the violent protests so far. Mass protests against the Ecuadorian government have now intensified. Protests launched in protest against the government’s decision to abolish fuel subsidies have turned violent and there were clashes between police and demonstrators during the demonstration.
