FA Cup: changes cause Liverpool collapse against Wolves
India will be looking to erase the memories of a heart breaking World Cup final defeat last year when they take on England in the semi-finals of the Women’s World T20 on Friday. They have been on a winning streak since landing in the Caribbean, after a perfect record in the group stages in Guyana—including wins against Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan— Harmanpreet Kaur’s team is up against a side that pipped them to the post in the Women’s World Cup last year.
“India will definitely put a target and want to prove a bit of point from last year”. However, England, the reigning ODI world champions, are a quality side in shortest format of game.
In other semifinals, the defending champions west indies will face a strong Australian team on track to take part in a repeat of the 2016 Women’s WT20 final.
